When you want to know what the Orange County real estate market is currently doing, you need to take a look at this resource. This chart reflects how many homes are on the market in a given location and price range, and what the average Days-On-Market. This is a very good indicator how the overall condition of the market is. When inventory is high with DOM over 90 days, it‘s very much a buyers market. But if you see the inventory levels dropping, and the DOM under 60 days, it‘s on the cusp of buyers/sellers market. During this period you can usually find some good deals, but they are not as plentiful.
